The Folly is a superbly crafted timber and stone house, built with love by its owners, with comfort and sustainability in mind. Perfectly positioned between Lakes Entrance and Metung, The Folly is just 4 minutes drive from the Gippsland Lakes, or a 15 minute walk along a quiet track to the water's edge.
Completely "off grid", experience what it's like to live sustainably, whilst marvelling at the climate control features of this purpose built, energy efficient home, designed to offer year round comfort.
The grand chalet style design sleeps up to 6 guests. There is a master bedroom and bathroom downstairs, and an upstairs loft with 4 single beds that kids will go nuts over. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove top, wood burning 'Esse' oven and dishwasher, alongside a beautiful open plan living area offering idyllic rural views from every direction.
Surrounded by 1.2 hectares of neatly manicured lawns and rolling hills, The Folly is picture perfect for a couple or a family who prefer trees over technology (although free Wi-Fi is available if you need it), with plenty of space to roam, relax or kick the footy.
Marvel at the grand entrance and stupidly beautiful rural surrounds which stretch as far as the eye can see, gaze up at unpolluted skies from the outdoor patio, perfect for BBQs and later, fireside tales under the stars. Follow a nature track to the water's edge, where you can swim, fish, kayak or even launch your boat if you're bringing one.
