Waratah Retreat

Waratah Retreat is a relaxing holiday home nestled on a treed rise, overlooking the magnificent Waratah Bay.

This home is beautifully presented with modern amenities. The open plan living area features cathedral ceilings and large windows which provide garden views. There is an L-shaped lounge suite in front of a satellite Smart TV with free to air stations and DVD player, an iPhone dock, PlayStation 2 game console, books, board games and high-speed Starlink internet. Perfect for all seasons, there is a cosy Coonara wood heater and reverse-cycle air-conditioning. The large dining table seats 8 people and the the well-equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, microwave, rice maker, Nespresso coffee machine, complimentary condiments and a good supply of crockery, glassware and cutlery.

This home has 3 large bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people. It is ideally suited to one large or two small families.

Linen is not supplied so you will need to bring your own.

The bathroom has a vanity unit and a shower over a bath. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and clothes dryer.

Surrounding this home is a bush garden inhabited by many beautiful birds. In the garden shed you will find wood for the fire and a selection of beach equipment.

Take a leisurely 5 minute stroll along 300 metres of Waratah Bay's quiet residential streets to the pristine beach. Escape the summer heat on this endless beach and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. During the colder months, take an exhilarating walk along the vast stretch of sand. The beach is very safe with a gradual slope, making it quite shallow with small surf. It is ideal for a swim with the family or a game of beach cricket.

Waratah Bay is where the bush meets the ocean, combined with an amazing array of wildlife. This exclusive beach community only has around 100 houses and a caravan park. Take a 5 minute drive to Sandy Point where there is a cafe and takeaway food shops. 15 minutes away is the town of Fish Creek with the acclaimed Fish Creek Hotel. The magnificent Wilsons Promontory National Park and Cape Liptrap Coastal Park are only a short drive away.
