Thelma Stewart's Mill House
Thelma Stewart's Mill House is a quaint cottage, nestled right in the heart of historic Jamieson.
This cosy and quirky cottage is well-appointed and decorated with old-world Australian furnishings, novelty ornaments and artwork. It includes an open fire, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, well-equipped kitchen with fridge and stove, 4 seat dining table and laundry.
There are two bedrooms and the cottage can sleep up to 5 people. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double and a single bed. All linen and towels are supplied.
A unique feature of the cottage is the covered outdoor entertaining area. There is Coonara heater with firewood supplied, bar stools and a large selection of collectables on display from a bygone era.
At the front of the cottage is a verandah with seating that overlooks an iconic tupelo tree.
Guests will love the convenient location of Thelma Stewart's Mill House. Jamieson's main street is just around the corner, while across the road is Deb's Cafe. Take a short stroll to the beautiful Jamieson River and enjoy a picnic on the grassy banks.
