The Verandah

Feel like you have escaped to the country when staying at The Verandah, located in quiet residential area between the bay and ocean beaches of Rye.

This beautifully presented home has a cottage feel which starts in the cosy lounge area with its wood fire, comfortable couches and a Smart TV with Foxtel and Netflix. Adjoining this space is a large dining bench and a well equipped kitchen with gas cooktop, oven, microwave and dishwasher.

This home has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people.

• Bedroom 4 - two sets of single bunks

In addition to the ensuite, there is a main bathroom with a shower, bath and toilet.

All linen, towels and toiletries are provided.

The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and ironing facilities.

Spanning the full length of the front of this home is a large decked verandah. It is the perfect outdoor entertaining space with festoon lighting, a dining table and comfortable sitting area.

The bungalow in the backyard has been turned into a games room and retreat for the kids. It is air-conditioned and includes a table tennis table and its own bathroom.

The gardens surrounding The Verandah were established many years ago by Italian family owners who planted fruit trees, providing a lush and shady canopy. There is a fire pit in the garden and a hammock to swing in. Close the front gates and enjoy the privacy of this securely fenced property.

The safe shallow waters of the bay beach are 1500 metres from the home, or less than a 20 minute walk. Alternatively, head to the exhilarating ocean beach which is just over 2 kilometres away.

Local shops and eateries can be found at nearby Rye and Blairgowrie, or drive 8 minutes to Sorrento for a choice of restaurants, a wide selection of shops and beautiful beaches.
