Henrietta's Country House is grand Art Deco home, located 3 kilometres from Castlemaine in the small nearby town of Chewton.

Henrietta's is one of only two original substantial redbrick houses built in Chewton and has recently been rescued and restored as an original beauty. It features a sandstone fireplace, gas log fireplaces, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, polished floorboards, leadlight windows, a fully appointed kitchen and beautiful indoor spa bath.

The home is characterised by an eclectic mix of antique Persian rugs, oriental artworks, empire style furnishings, bespoke bathroom mural and high Art Deco ceilings. All this makes for an elegant and fascinating visual experience.

Rates are based on 2 guests. Extra guests beyond two (with a limit of 4 guests in total) are charged $150 each per night.

Minimum stay is 2 nights.

A refundable security deposit of $250 is required.
