Molesworth Recreation Reserve & Caravan Park

Molesworth Recreation Reserve & Caravan Park is located on the banks of the Goulburn River, between Yea and Alexandra.

Affordable, family friendly camping is available, with a range of powered and unpowered sites, as well as smaller spaces for swags.

Facilities include a shower and toilet block, a laundry with coin operated washing machines and drier, and covered shelters with free electric BBQs and seating. There is a pavilion with an entertaining area and satellite TV. At the rear of the pavilion is a camp kitchen with a stove, microwave, fridge and dining table. Designated fire pits are provided for camp fires.

Children will love the playground and large sports oval at the centre of the reserve. Enjoy fishing, swimming or recreational boating in the river.

The park is on crown land with live in caretakers who manage the day to day running and maintenance of the reserve.

Next to the caravan park is the Molesworth State Wildlife Reserve. Covering 28 hectares, it features river red gum woodlands, lagoons, wetlands, and an abundance of flora and fauna.

Rates based on 2 adults. Extra adults are $8 each per night, extra children (6 to 16 years) are $5 each per night.
