The Hideout

The Hideout is a lovely two storey holiday home, located within an easy stroll of the beach.

With living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms on each level, in addition to both internal and external stairs, this home is ideal for those who wish to share a holiday property together but require some privacy.

Downstairs is an air-conditioned open plan meals area with a 43 inch wall-mounted Smart TV and 6 seat dining table. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric cooktop and oven, microwave, Nespresso compatible pod coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher and ample cookware, crockery and cutlery.

Upstairs is a large living room with a wood heater (bring your own wood), reverse-cycle air-conditioner and large sofas in front of a 50 inch Smart TV. A sliding glass door next to a cosy reading nook opens onto a large semi-covered balcony with seating that overlooks the back yard.

The Hideout has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people.

• Bedroom 3 (upstairs) - two sets of single bunk beds

A cot and high chair are available if required.

There are 2 bathrooms.

A European laundry with a washing machine is located off the internal staircase.

At the rear of this home is a covered patio complete with a gas BBQ and outdoor dining table. Across the fenced yard is a large garage which has been converted into a games room and is suitable as a retreat for teenagers. It has a table tennis table, couches, bikes (bring your own helmets), skateboards and a scooter.

At the front of the home is a small semi-covered patio with a table and chairs for 4 people. This overlooks the fenced front garden which has an outdoor shower.

Parking is available for 3 vehicles or a boat on the long driveway.

Take an 8 minute walk to the sandy north-facing beach. The shops, restaurants and cafes in the centre of Cowes are a 3 minute drive away.

Please note that this property is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. No bookings are taken over Schoolies.

Minimum stay is from 2 to 7 nights (please note this varies depending on the dates).

Top and bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases are not supplied by default for this property. If you would like these items of linen supplied rather than bringing your own, the cost is a once-off charge of $30 per bed. Please advise if you would like linen supplied and for which beds. Advance notice of at least 7 days prior to your arrival is appreciated. Note that doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats are supplied at no cost.
