Tates Escape

Tates Escape is a charming holiday unit, located close to the Barwon River and walking distance to the main beach.

Whether you are after a family getaway or a relaxing retreat with friends, this cosy unit provides the perfect blend of comfort, convenience and beach life.

The open plan living area has a comfortable sitting area with a wall-mounted Smart TV and a dining table that seats 4 people. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooktop and oven, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and dishwasher.

A door from the kitchen leads out onto a large paved courtyard which has a covered verandah with a dining table. There is also an outdoor lounge suite in this private space which is secured by gates.

This unit has 2 bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 people

• Bedroom 2 - bunk bed (double on bottom, single on top)

There is one bathroom.

• Combined bathroom / laundry - shower, vanity unit, washing machine, separate toilet

All linen and basic toiletries are provided. Guests will need to bring their own beach towels.

An air-conditioner in the living area and ceiling fans in the bedrooms ensure your stay is a comfortable one.

Tates Escape is set within a group of units. There is a dedicated carport at the rear of the property.

Take a 3 minute stroll around the corner to the beautiful Barwon River which has a walking and cycling pathway that runs beside the sandy river bank. There is a boat ramp just a few hundred metres away.

Ocean Grove is one of the Bellarine Peninsula's most popular holiday towns. The surf beach is one of the best places to learn how to surf, while the stretches of sand along the mouth of the Barwon River offer great swimming spots. There are an excellent selection of shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as nearby golf courses and wineries. All this is just 20 minutes from the centre of Geelong and 25 minutes from the start of the Great Ocean Road at Torquay.
