When can you take your dog onto Bellarine Peninsula beaches?

Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove:

Refer to map of Barwon Coast dog friendly beaches. The term "under effective control" means your dog can be off-leash, but it must be within sight and be able to be controlled by voice commands. Occasionally there may be small temporary dog exclusion zones on some beaches due to highly threatened bird species breeding there.

Off-lead: along Narrows Beach between Roddick Grove (Point Lonsdale) and Fraser Street (Queenscliff), all year round.
Off-lead: along ocean beach from Fellows Road westwards outside of hood plover nesting season, otherwise on-lead.
On-lead: along all other beaches, all year round.
