When can you take your dog onto Phillip Island beaches?

Cape Woolamai:

On-lead: Cleeland Bight and The Colonnades any time from 1st May to 30th November, and 7-10am and 5-8pm from 1st December to 30th April.

Cowes:

On-lead: east of Erehwon Point and west of Mussel Rocks any time from 1st May to 30th November, and 7-10am and 5-8pm from 1st December to 30th April.

Newhaven:

On-lead: all beaches east of McLeod Point any time from 1st May to 30th November, and 7-10am and 5-8pm from 1st December to 30th April.

Rhyll:

On-lead: beach within the town centre any time from 1st May to 30th November, and 7-10am and 5-8pm from 1st December to 30th April.

San Remo:

Prohibited: the beach between the jetty and bridge.
On-lead: on all other beaches at any time from 1st May to 30th November, and before 10am and after 6pm from 1st December to 30th April.
Off-lead: Bore Beach (at end of Potters Hill Road) and south of the stairs to Foots Beach.

Smiths Beach, Sunderland Bay, Surf Beach:

On-lead: any time from 1st May to 30th November, and 7-10am and 5-8pm from 1st December to 30th April.

Ventnor:

Off-lead: between Graydens Road and Ventnor Beach Road any time from 1st May to 30th November, and 7-10am and 5-8pm from 1st December to 30th April.
On-lead: between Grossard Point and Saltwater Creek any time from 1st May to 30th November, and 7-10am and 5-8pm from 1st December to 30th April.
