Casa Mar Vista is a beautifully renovated holiday home that is located opposite the waterfront and boasts views towards Wilsons Promontory.

The entry hallway leads to a spacious living room with plenty of relaxing seating, a wall-mounted Smart TV above a non-functional fireplace and windows that provide delightful water views. The adjoining dining room has a table which seats 6 people and a reverse-cycle air-conditioner. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 5 burner gas cooktop, 900mm electric oven with inbuilt air fryer, microwave, Delonghi pod coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher and ample cookware, crockery and cutlery.

Casa Mar Vista has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 people.

Along the back of the home is a verandah which overlooks the large and fully fenced back yard. There is a fire pit (bring your own wood), a trampoline and plenty of grass for ball games or for kids to run around. Along the side of the yard is an entertaining shed with a gas BBQ and a dining table that seats 8 people.

The name Casa Mar Vista is Spanish for "sea view house", reflecting its idyllic location along the beachfront esplanade in the tranquil coastal town of Port Welshpool. Enjoy picturesque water views of Corner Inlet, over the water to Wilsons Promontory National Park and the historic Long Jetty. Walk across the road to the safe sandy swimming beach. Take a stroll or ride your bike along the sealed foreshore pathway and soak up the waterfront scenery.

A 2 minute walk from the home is a beachfront park which has a covered BBQ area, playground and skate park. Near the park is the town's local hotel, "The Rusty Gurnard", a general store and takeaway food shop. Take a stroll through the foreshore to the wharf where there is a boat ramp and berthing for commercial fishing fleets.

A 10 minute walk along the foreshore in opposite direction takes you to the historic Long Jetty which is 800 metres long and is an excellent fishing spot.

Other attractions in the area include the Great Southern Rail Trail, the scenic Agnes Falls, Tarra-Bulga National Park and Wilsons Promontory.

Top and bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases are not supplied by default for this property. If you would like these items of linen supplied rather than bringing your own, the cost is a once-off charge of $30 per bed. Please advise if you would like linen supplied and for which beds. Advance notice of at least 7 days prior to your arrival is appreciated. Note that doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats are supplied at no cost.
