South Beach Pines
South Beach Pines is a tranquil country cottage set on private acreage and surrounded by lush greenery. Kick back and relax at this cosy retreat which is just a short drive away from the beautiful sandy beaches at Torquay.
This charming studio cottage features a spacious open plan living, dining and sleeping area with cathedral ceilings.
There is a comfortable king size bed, two leather couches, a wall-mounted Smart TV with Netflix and split-system air-conditioning. The meals area has a dining table and fully equipped kitchenette complete with portable hotplates, microwave, fridge, electric frypan, toaster, kettle, sandwich press, pots, pans and utensils. The modern bathroom has a shower, vanity unit and toilet.
Step outside onto the partially covered deck which is surrounded by tall screening for your privacy. There is a comfortable couch, table setting and a gas BBQ. Breathe in the fresh sea air while enjoying the sounds of resident birdlife.
At the front of the cottage is a small fire pit and a couple of chairs. The modern design of the fire pit ensures it creates minimal smoke. There is also an outdoor shower which is handy for washing off the sand after a day at the beach.
Dedicated parking for one vehicle is provided in front of the cottage's timber gate, with space for an additional car beside the nearby garages.
South Beach Pines is situated on a one hectare property which also includes the home of your hosts. Your cottage is located 30 metres from their home, with its own access, and is well screened for your privacy. The only shared space is the driveway.
While South Beach Pines is located on the northern outskirts of Torquay, everything you need is still within easy reach. Drive just 2 kilometres to The Dunes Village shopping centre which has a Woolworths supermarket, food outlets and petrol station. Otherwise, take a 5 kilometre drive into the heart of Torquay with its array of restaurants, cafes and shops. The nearest beach to the cottage is Whites Beach which is a 3 kilometre drive away.
South Beach Pines is a peaceful haven for those seeking a quiet retreat that is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main centre of Torquay, but within easy reach of the beach.
Dog information:
- Well behaved and toilet trained dogs welcome inside
- Please bring clean coverings for the leather couches if your dog likes to sit on them
- Dogs are strictly not permitted on the bed
- A fully fenced yard surrounds the cottage
- As the yard is secure, you can go out and leave your dog safely behind at the cottage if you need to
- 3 kilometres from Whites Beach which is a year round off-leash dog beach
- Lots of nearby parks and ovals for walks
