Stoke and Steam is a spacious and stylish home, set on a large allotment that backs onto bushland.

A sliding door on the front verandah opens into a light-filled open plan living area which has a wood heater and reverse-cycle air-conditioner. There is a chaise lounge, Smart TV and a dining table that seats 6 people. The adjoining kitchen is equipped with a gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, air fryer, slow cooker, sandwich press, coffee pod machine, fridge, dishwasher, and a selection of cookware, crockery and glassware.

Stoke and Steam has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people.

  • Bedroom 1 - king bed, electric blanket, walk-in robe, ensuite, reverse-cycle air-conditioner, direct access outside
  • Bedroom 2 - king bed, reverse-cycle air-conditioner, direct access to main bathroom
  • Bedroom 3 - two single beds, electric blankets, Smart TV, reverse-cycle air-conditioner

There are 2 bathrooms.

  • Main bathroom - deep bath, shower, vanity unit, toilet
  • Ensuite - shower, vanity unit, toilet

Linen, towels, cleaning supplies and toiletries are provided. A toddler high chair and portacot (bring your own linen) are available on request.

The laundry is equipped with a front load washing machine, clothes dryer and ironing facilities. It also has a toilet.

At the rear of the home are two covered outdoor areas. There is a courtyard with an outdoor setting beside the main bedroom. Around the corner is a large entertaining area, complete with an outdoor table seating 8 people, relaxation chairs, gas BBQ and chiminea. Beside this entertaining area is your own private sauna where you can relax and unwind. There is also an outdoor shower and drying rail.

The garage in the backyard has been set up as a second living space or man cave. It has a set of couches, a Smart TV, wood heater, bicycle racks and maintenance equipment. Complimentary bicycles are provided so you can explore the scenic streets of Bright and the Murray To Mountains Rail Trail.

The large backyard is securely fenced and slopes upwards. There is a glasshouse with a large wooden deck that overlooks the garden, providing a place to soak up the surrounding view of the mountains. Beside the glasshouse is a fire pit and seating. A gate at the far end of the yard opens onto walking areas in the neighbouring state forest.

Stoke and Steam is located on the eastern outskirts of Bright, within a 19 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the shops, cafes and restaurants in the town centre. Access the Ovens River by taking a 5 minute stroll along Tyntynder Lane.
