Halcyon Days

Halcyon Days is a modern two storey beach home located in a quiet residential area of San Remo.

The main living area is located on the upper floor of this property. This air-conditioned open plan space includes two couches, an arm chair next to a Coonara wood heater (some wood provided), a wall mounted Smart TV and Marley sound box. The dining table seats 6 people and there are 4 stools under the kitchen bench. The fully equipped kitchen has an induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave, coffee pod machine, fridge, dishwasher and ample cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

A sliding glass door leads from this living area onto a large balcony with an 8 seat dining table, recliner chairs, a 6 seat corner lounge and bar stools. Enjoy glimpses of the ocean and across to Phillip Island from here.

Three steps down from the upstairs living area is an open study which then leads to a stairway down to the lower level.

On the ground floor is a second living room with a wall mounted TV and air-conditioner. A sliding glass door opens directly onto the backyard.

Halcyon Days has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 10 people.

• Ensuite (upstairs) - walk-in shower, vanity unit, toilet

The fully fenced backyard has a large area of grass, a fire pit (bring your own wood), hot outdoor shower and a cubby house with a slide for children. At the far end of the garden is covered outdoor entertaining area which has a Weber BBQ and recliner chairs. Inside part of the adjacent shed is a games room area which includes a table tennis table and Smart TV.

There is covered parking for 2 to 3 cars under the carport. Another vehicle can be accommodated on the driveway in front of the carport. A separate driveway along the side of the home, which has double gates, provides space for two vehicles, a boat or caravan.

Take a 10 minute walk to Lions Park where there is a playground and picnic shelters along a cliff top above the beach. Walk a further couple of minutes along the track down to the sandy beach below. The town centre of San Remo, with its supermarket, hotels, cafes and shops that overlook the foreshore and water, is a 3 minute drive away from the home.

Please note that this property is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. No bookings are taken over Schoolies.

A $45 booking fee also applies to each stay - no other cleaning fee or bond applies.

Minimum stay is from 2 to 7 nights (please note this varies depending on the dates).

Top and bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases are not supplied by default for this property. If you would like these items of linen supplied rather than bringing your own, the cost is a once-off charge of $30 per bed. Please advise if you would like linen supplied and for which beds. Advance notice of at least 7 days prior to your arrival is appreciated. Note that doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats are supplied at no cost.
