Dogs on beaches at Sandy Point
- There is a year round off-leash area located 200 metres west of Ned Neals lookout (the lookout is accessed from the western end of Beach Parade)
- On the beaches along Shallow Inlet, dogs permitted on-leash at all times
- On the ocean beaches, dogs are prohibited between 9am and 6pm from 1st December to 30th April, however they are permitted on-leash there at all other times
