- Dogs are prohibited on the town beach between the eastern end of Wye River Beachfront Campground and the southern end of the foreshore reserve from 9am to 7pm between 24th December and 30th April
- At all other times and at all other beaches, dogs are permitted off-leash

- Dogs are prohibited on the main beach area from 9am to 7pm between 24th December and 30th April
- At all other times and at all other beaches, dogs are permitted off-leash
Dogs on beaches at Kennett River
- Dogs are prohibited on the town beach between the surf life saving club and the river mouth from 9am to 7pm between 24th December and 30th April
- At all other times and at all other beaches, dogs are permitted off-leash
