The Cottage

The Cottage is a cute and cosy timber clad home, set within park-like surroundings near the Barwon River.

Perfect for a couple, small family or friends, this cottage offers a relaxing and fun-filled getaway in a quiet location.

Step through the front door into the tastefully decorated open plan living area which is bathed in natural light and has reverse-cycle air-conditioning for year round comfort. There is a comfortable sofa, wall-mounted TV and a dining table that seats 4 people. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooktop and oven, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster.

This home has 2 bedrooms can can sleep up to 4 people.

There is one bathroom.

Combined bathroom / laundry - shower, vanity unit, separate toilet, washing machine, clothes dryer

All linen and basic toiletries are provided. Guests will need to bring their own beach towels.

The back door opens onto a sunny and privately screened garden with an outdoor setting and an outdoor bathtub. Relax under the stars while listening to the ocean waves in the distance.

A private carport and ample visitor parking is provided.

The Cottage is nestled on a one hectare allotment that consists of 14 cottages, surrounded by landscaped gardens. There are picnic areas and a tennis court which are shared by all the cottages.

The picturesque Ocean Grove Golf Club is located around the corner and there are some lovely walking tracks along the nearby Barwon River.

For coffee and snacks, Groove Cafe is within a 9 minute walk along Wallington Road. Take a 2 minute drive to the boat ramp on the Barwon River, a 3 minute drive into the town centre of Ocean Grove with its many cafes and shops, or a 4 minute drive to the ocean beach.

Ocean Grove is one of the Bellarine Peninsula's most popular holiday towns. The surf beach is one of the best places to learn how to surf, while the stretches of sand along the mouth of the Barwon River offer great swimming spots. There are an excellent selection of shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as nearby golf courses and wineries. All this is just 20 minutes from the centre of Geelong and 25 minutes from the start of the Great Ocean Road at Torquay.
