Wyndham Cottage is a former caretaker's cottage which is located at the rear of the historic Wyndham apartment building. It has been lovingly restored to create a unique holiday environment that feels worlds away from the city, yet is just metres from Albert Park and the many bars and cafes of vibrant Fitzroy Street.
The north facing open-plan living and dining area is light filled and has a pleasant outlook to the garden. There is a 2½ seat sofa, a lounge chair with foot rest, TV, stereo system, Blu-ray player, Netflix, other subscription channels and unlimited free Wi-Fi. The dining setting seats four. A reverse-cycle air-conditioner provides heating and cooling to this area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave, full size fridge/freezer, quality modern appliances and a selection of crockery and cutlery. There is china crockery for indoors and a melamine setting for outdoor use. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil are provided on arrival.
While ideally suited to a couple, the cottage can sleep up to 4 guests if required. There is one bedroom which has a king size bed that can be converted into two extra length singles on request. It has bedside tables, a wardrobe and luggage rack. The sofa in the lounge can be made into a bed which sleep another two people. The bedding is plush and extremely comfortable with luxury linen. A complimentary porta cot and high chair are available upon request.
The bathroom has a bath over shower, a basin, toilet, hairdryer and laundry facilities including washing machine/dryer. Boutique MOR toiletries, laundry and dishwashing detergent are supplied.
The cottage is private and secure with a large enclosed sunny courtyard that features a 6 set outdoor setting with umbrella and gas BBQ. The relaxing garden includes a fish pond, fruit trees and herbs. There is also a clothes line and large dry storage shed.
Wyndham Cottage is located just 10 minutes walk from St Kilda Beach, Acland street or trendy Chapel Street.
Public transport is excellent, with the nearest tram stop being 150 metres away, providing easy access to Melbourne's city centre and inner suburbs. For those with a vehicle, a parking permit is available (fully refundable bond required).

Nightly rates from:
$135. This is the minimum nightly rate which varies throughout the year. Discounts may be available.
Rates are based on two adults. Each additional adult is $20 per night, or $15 per child. A additional fee applies if splitting the king size bed into two singles.
Interim or weekly cleaning negotiable for stays of 8 nights or longer.
A fully refundable bond is required with all bookings.
