Barrawarn (The Magpie) is a charming beach shack that offers a relaxing place to escape to at any time of year.

Barrawarn is the indigenous name for magpie. These birds will be calling you in the mornings with their song and visiting the garden to say hello.

This elevated two storey home is thoughtfully decorated and features cathedral ceilings, timber flooring and modern facilities.

Upstairs is the open plan light-filled living space which includes a wood log fire. There is a dining table which seats 6 and a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. A sliding glass door leads to a covered entertaining deck complete with a gas BBQ and dining setting.

Downstairs is a laundry and double car garage.

This home has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people.

The ocean at Number 16 Beach is only a kilometre away, with the nearby 16 Beach General Store a great spot to stop for organic, vegan and environmentally friendly products. There is a walking track that takes you through the Mornington Peninsula National Park in the direction of Sorrento to Dimmicks Beach. This coastal walk extends in both directions, linking Cape Schanck to Sorrento.

Take a 4 minute drive to the bay beaches of Rye which offer safe swimming and wide stretches of sand.

Wineries, golf courses and Peninsula Hot Springs are all just a short drive from this property.
