The Salt House

The Salt House is a stylish holiday home that boasts spacious living areas and an in-ground pool.

The main living area is a vast open space with high vaulted ceilings and clerestory windows that bathe it in natural light. There is a large TV, luxurious couches, a wood heater and an 8 seat dining table. The designer kitchen features stone benchtops, a butlers pantry, gas cooktop and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and double door fridge with ice dispenser.

Sliding glass doors from the main living area open onto a large covered entertaining deck with an outdoor dining table, sun lounges and an outdoor kitchen with a built-in BBQ and sink. This deck overlooks a sparkling solar heated pool which is surrounded by a native trees and bushes. Behind the pool is a hidden cubby house which small kids will love.

The second living area is at the front of the home and consists of a formal lounge room with comfortable seating and a cosy gas log fire.

This home has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 people.

The front verandah has seating which overlooks the landscaped front garden with a fire pit. There is a double carport and ample parking for extra vehicles on the driveway which is secured by a sliding gate.

The Salt House is located 1½ kilometres from the exhilarating ocean beach. Take a 4 minute drive to the centre of Rye with its many shops and restaurants and its beautiful bay beach.

• The property is secure with a gate at the front and tall fences in most areas, however there is one small spot which has a chicken wire fence
