You will really feel at home when you stay at a fully self-contained dog-friendly property such as a holiday house, villa, apartment, cabin or cottage. Some of these properties will have plenty of outdoor space that is securely fenced, providing a safe area for your dog to run around in. Self-contained accommodation is a great choice if you are after all the comforts of home, plenty of room, and the advantage of having lots of privacy so that you and your pet won't get in the way of other people or their dogs. Note that a small number of self-contained accommodation properties won't allow your dog to come inside, but there will usually be a shady verandah, a kennel or other safe place provided outside for your dog.
